DiSneylAnd TrIp!!!

We took the family and my Mom down to Disneyland for a week. Sawyer has been begging to go and we thought it would be fun to take Tay for her first trip.
We did the Storyteller's breakfast at our hotel and Sawyer was more interested with getting his picture taken with all the character instead of eating. Taytem was the opposite, she liked the characters from a distance.

My Dad couldn't make it for the whole week, so we flew him down on Sunday morning and stayed for 2 days. It was a lot of fun. Muhollands Madness was one of Sawyer's favorite rides so him, Rob and my Dad rode it over and over again.

We got there the weekend they were decorated for Halloween. They had a great Halloween fireworks show we watched almost every night.

The Adams Family!!

Taytem and Sawyer eating Cheetos for breakfast!! Isn't that how it goes when you're on vacation?

Sawyer watching some TV on the plane ride down.

The first day we got there Taytem saw Minnie and wanted to go see her. So, we waited in line and when it was our turn Taytem freaked out and swatted at Minnie.

This is my Moms attempt at taking our family pic!!

The weather was a little on the warm side and the crowds were very few. The kids got to ride all the rides whenever they wanted without to much of a line.

Sawyer and Woody

Taytem had to ride the carousel over and over again, without any one's help. She thinks she is so BIG.

Taytem loved the parades and would dance!

We did some shopping at Downtown Disney and while Rob was looking in the Quicksilver store and I was chasing Taytem, Sawyer was being a live model!! He fits right in check out the shirt!!

My VERY cute kids.

We had such a great time and we are so glad Dad(ROB) would take the time off work to go with us!!!

Dallas Texas

Rob had been talking about going to Dallas for BYU's first game in the new Cowboy's stadium since he first heard about it. I finally decided lets just go. (I personally would have rather went somewhere else, but I got my trip a few weeks later to Disneyland.)
We started off with a flight to Denver and then from there down to Dallas.
This was Taytem's first time on an airplane and we were kind of nervous. She actually did really well and either slept or just watched TV.
When we finally got to Dallas is was very late. This is Sawyer and Taytem riding the shuttle to get our rental car. Sawyer was so upset that we didn't rent a Camero. We keep trying to explain that we all couldn't fit in one. He's a little obsessed with Transformers.

We stayed at The Gaylord Texan Resort on Lake Grapevine. It was a very nice hotel, with a huge atrium in the center with shops, restaurants and huge fountains. The kids loved to go down and just walk around looking at everything.
Sawyer loved the Steer with huge Texas style horns!

The next morning Rob had us up and ready to head to the stadium 4 hours before, yes I said 4 hours before the game started.

Once we got there we couldn't even get inside until 1 hour before game time, so we sat around in the hot humid sun.

Sawyer played in this fountain to keep COOL. Okay I stuck my feet in too!!

My mom, Taytem, Rob and Sawyer in front of the Cowboy's Stadium.

My Dad is the equipment manager for BYU so it fun to see him down on the field during the games. This is after they won, celebrating. My Dad is the on the bottom of the screen with the blue hat and shirt.

The game was so intense, I couldn't sit still. The inside was great, soft padded seats, lots of leg room. It was like a really nice hotel not a stadium. Taytem was so cute, when everyone would stand up and cheer she would too! She would throw her arm up and scream.

The next day we swam and chilled at the hotel. Eating some great food and taking naps.
Sawyer had a blast at the pool, doing all sorts of tricks off the side.

Me and Taytem

Right next to our hotel was Bass Pro, we went to check it out. It's a lot like Cabella's but with more fishing than hunting.

Taytem loved to talk on the phone, it was low and within reach for her.

My Mom and Sawyer reading before bed.

We had such a great trip, it was fun to get away and see BYU win a big game.
